How are you today?

This is my 3rd newsletter, which I'm writing at a Starbucks at Gwangalli Beach during sunset. (I was there when I wrote this text)

So finally my new single, “Secret Wish” was released.

Yes, I completed this song a month ago and scheduled its release for Valentine’s Day because it's a day dedicated to love. 💝

So, yesterday was Valentine’s Day💖. (Actually, as I write this now, it’s already three days ago, February 17th, 1:28 am.)

Long ago, there were so many chocolates 🍫in every store and on the streets here, but not as much this year. (Maybe it's different in Busan? The mood in Seoul felt different.🤔)

Doesn't it look good? All are vegetarian. I love these foods, but I try not to eat them too often because they're sweet desserts.

And lastly, about the backstory of the song, “Complicated”. 

So as you heard my new song, “Secret Wish”, she said in the song :

You know what, I don’t care / what you gonna say

I’m just gonna show you a smile as if / nothing’s going on

You asked me why I was /mad on the phone I said

Last night’s call was a total silly joke

 Song : “Secret Wish”

As I mentioned earlier, she is also in love with the boy, her best friend. 

But why was she angry at him?

The simple answer is in the short lyric video on my Instagram reel.

Yes. As she said in the song : 

When you called me last night 

you talked about your new girl 

By the way, I missed the word “new” on my Instagram Reel. Sorry for that. 

So she was angry on the night when he called her, talking about his 'new' girlfriend.

But let me ask you this: Why did she say before seeing him,

I’m just gonna show a smile as if nothing’s going on

And when he asked why she was angry on the phone at the night, 

then why did she say :

I said last night’s call, it was just a silly joke

Can you guess?

So, for more story about this song, I will share it in the next letter.
